American has been replacing the MD83 with newer Boeing 737-800s on some of their routes through SFO.

This one arriving from LAX later went on to ORD.

The Luftwaffe brought German Chancellor Angela Merkl to San Francisco.

Had to go around when his company crossed 28L too slowly...

This Boeing Business Jet has been shuttling to LAS.

Virgin Atlantic brought in a "little" A340 today...

Here they are departing RY01R for London Heathrow.

Virgin Atlantic A340-600

For about six months now Virgin Atlantic has been flying the A340-600 into SFO. I have wanted to get a picture of it this whole time, but whenever they come in I have been working... Yesterday, I finally got my chance, as they came in after I was finished with work. Unfortunately the weather was clousey for airliner photography... cloudy and lousy.... overcast, no sun... Oh well! I still got some pictures, and here they are.

A beautiful airliner, reminiscent of the classic jetliner, the Boeing 707...
